He had to return later with a replacement, and while we went to check out the casino, he had corrected the problem by the time we got back. A repairman came to inspect the safe and determined that the battery was missing or dead. We were assured that we would not be charged for the vacancies, as housekeeping was rigorous in keeping tabs on that we in fact were not charged for those items. We were concerned with 2 vacancies in the honor bar a safe that was not operating properly and a request for turndown service. The bathroom was also spacious, with a large shower stall, 2 sinks as requested, and bathroom with a pocket door for privacy.
We had a spacious room with a king bed, large TV, and well-stocked honor bar. We had a nice view of the gorgeous surrounding hillsides, with picturesque oaks and grass starting to turn brown. This I believe is a newer section of the hotel, and the room did seem fairly new. I asked for a room with 2 sinks on a higher level floor, and we were placed in a room on the 9th floor. Check in was Wendy's style, with 2 employees working at the counter, and also quite easy.
My wife and I stayed at the Chumash Casino Resort on a recentThursday night.
